WHO ARE WE?
Sarathi Socio-Cultural Trust
(referred to as "we”, "us”,  and/or "our”) is a registered Non-Profit Organization in Bengaluru, Karnataka, INDIA (REG. NO: BNG(U) - BLR (S) / 36 / 2006-07). Registration u/s 12AA (a) of the I.T. Act 1961, is granted under Limb "AGPU" w.e.f. AY. 2017-18 in the status of "Charitable Trust".
We operate the website https://www.sarathionline.org (the website).
The data controller responsible for your personal data is Sarathi Socio-Cultural Trust with whom you contract as a visitor, partner, member or membership applicant ("Sarathi”, "we”, "us” and/or "our”).
 
KEY PRINCIPLES
We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy. Capitalized terms that are not defined in this policy are defined in our Terms of Use.

Sarathi Socio-Cultural Trust will not be responsible for any error, inaccuracy or any delay caused by the user. It is the solitary responsibility of the user to enter and verify the correct details. The users are advised to take the copy of the transaction for any possible disputes in future.
 
INFORMATION SECURITY AND DATA WE COLLECT
We have security measures in place to help prevent the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. Once you confirm to us through the website that you wish to proceed with your donation / membership subscription your transaction will be processed through our payment gateway provider, PayUmoney. By confirming that you wish to proceed with your donation / membership subscription you authorize PayUmoney to request funds from your Credit, Debit, NetBanking, UPI or Wallet provider.
Before we can process a donation / membership subscription you must provide us with (i) your name, address, mobile and email address; and (ii) amount that you wish to use to fund the donation. We will use this information to process your donation / membership subscription. It is your responsibility to ensure you have provided us with the correct information. When you submit your payment details, these details will be transferred to our payment provider, PayUmoney, and your payment data will be collected and processed securely by them. You should make sure that you are aware of PayUmoney’s terms and conditions, which are different from our own, to ensure that you are comfortable with how they will process your personal data before you make a donation. We do not store your digital payment (Credit / Debit Card, UPI, Wallet, NetBanking) details. In fact, your digital payment information never passes through the website and it is captured directly by our payment gateway provider, PayUmoney (https://www.payumoney.com).
We use a secure server and all supplied data is transmitted via Transport Layer Security (SSL/TLS) technology, firewalls and other measures.
We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. However, no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

We collect the following personal data about you:

Food Stall Booking Applications: The personal details you provide when submitting for "Food Stall Booking Application”. These applications typically include your full name, e-mail address, and mobile number; information about your work and other information that you elect to provide to support your application.

New Membership: When becoming a member of Sarathi Socio-Cultural Trust, we collect your full name, address, e-mail address, mobile number and membership amount to process your membership application.

Contact Us: Personal details typically include your full name, e-mail address, and mobile number which you choose to give when corresponding with us by phone, or e-mail.

Sponsor With Us: The personal details you provide when submitting for "Corporate Sponsorship Application”. These applications typically include your full name, e-mail address, and phone number; information about your work and other information that you elect to provide to support your application.

Donation: When you wish to proceed with your contribution you must provide us with (i) your full  name, address, mobile number and email address; and (ii) amount that you wish to use to fund the donation. We will use this information to process your donation.

Individual Puja Sponsorship: When you wish to proceed with your Individual Puja Sponsorship contribution you must provide us with (i) your full  name, address, mobile number, email address and puja item category; and (ii) amount that you wish to use to fund the program. We will use this information to process your contribution.

PAYMENT INFORMATION
Any Credit/Debit card payments and other digital payments you make through our website will be processed by our third party payment provider (PayUmoney) and the payment data you submit will be securely stored and encrypted by our payment service provider using up to date industry standards. Please note that we do not ourselves directly process or store your digital payment (Credit / Debit Card, UPI, Wallet, NetBanking) data that you submit.
 
INFORMATION SHARING AND DISCLOSURE
Aggregate Information (non-personally identifiable)
Non-Personally Identifiable Information - We may disclose aggregate, anonymous data based on information collected from users to potential partners, reputable third parties and other companies in an effort to help improve our Services. This information is related to aggregated traffic and geographic data and does not identify individual users. Other than as described in this Privacy policy, we do not link aggregate user data with personal information.

Personally Identifiable Information – As explained in this Privacy Policy, we use third party providers from some services such as online payment processing, Google Analytics, Google Adwords. Your information is shared with these providers only to the extent necessary to provide services on our behalf. They are not authorized to use your information for any other purpose.
The only other instances that we may release personally identifiable information is:

  • To comply with the law such as receiving a court order to release information and
  • To protect our and our user’s rights or safety such as needing to enforce our Terms of service or facing issues of fraud.

BACKUPS AND ARCHIVES
We perform daily backups of our data. The last 30 days of backups are retained. These are intended to be used only in the event of a catastrophic loss of our production database.
